The Campus Connect Program by STEP AHEAD INDIA aims to reach students where they are — in classrooms. This initiative creates partnerships with colleges, particularly in Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities, to introduce students to social sector opportunities and train them for career readiness.

To create awareness and preparation pipelines inside academic campuses so students can actively pursue careers in fellowships, YP roles, and development sector jobs.

Mode: Hybrid Model – Physical + Virtual Engagement

Outreach Goal (2025-26): 5,000–7,000 students across 50 colleges

• Students pursuing Social Work, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts courses
• Final-year UG and PG students
• NSS/NCC volunteers and aspiring changemakers

• Partnerships with 50+ colleges across India
• Physical awareness sessions on social sector career opportunities
• Onboarding students to our virtual training and mentorship ecosystem
• Training ‘Impact Warriors’ — 2–3 student leaders per college to coordinate future outreach
• Career readiness mentorship including guidance on job roles, interview prep, application support
• Collaboration with faculty coordinators and departments for long-term engagement
